Monday the 17th was my graduation celebration... well, mine and all of our friends who also graduated this semester. There was a good turn out since all of us invited people and (of course since we're friends) our circles overlap so friends I wouldn't have thought of inviting were invited by someone else.

And then, as often occurs... after 17 May came 18 May. Mt St Helen's Day. To celebrate that great anniversary my water broke... and we went to the hospital. After triage, and a long walk I was finally given a drip of oxytocin to progress the labor (same thing happened with Cairn... water broke and labor didn't start) at 11 pm... that's about an hour past my bedtime and I just wanted to go to sleep!!
And then 2:05 came.

Speaking of Cairn, she loves her baby "Ah-reese" and is a fabulous big sister!
Congratulations to the whole family. Not many people would remember Mt. St. Helens day other than your family. We'll let our Lili know she has a cousin Lilly now.
