Rainy days

I decided the previous post was long enough, so here's some of what happened last week:

First of all, I have the most fabulous daughters ever!  I had just changed their diapers and left them in their room while I rinsed them (we're cloth diapering during the day) and got them into the wash.  By the time I had finished I heard unusually pleasant noises from the back of the house.  Cairn had surrounded herself and Cerise with toys and books and was reading out-loud to a cooing sister.

I did catch a video, but am having problems uploading it right now, so this picture will have to suffice.

Last week Saturday the local library had a special family story time/ end of Summer party that I took Cairn, Rebekah and Cerise to.  The girls got "wave bottles" (oil and colored water) to shake, to paint with watercolors, sing and dance and watch a puppet show.  Rebekah braved sitting in side a huge bubble and Cairn ate lots of the watermelon. Oh... and they made paper octopusses..octopusi?... they each made an octopus.

And of course, there has been rain.  Glorious monsoon rain.

To finish off the post... Cerise is smiling and cooing and inadvertently scooting... nothing that we can catch in a cute and fun picture, so here's a random one we took (the only one we took) from the last week:

(sorry for the red eye)
