Thanksgiving Tree Tradition

Yeah!  It’s November!  And Autumn has finally come to Tucson!

As we were all in a candy craze Tuesday I allowed the girls to watch two shows instead of one and took that time to set up out Thanksgiving Tree.  I took some construction paper and cut out a quick trunk and branches and taped that to a wall.  Then I cut a bunch of leaves and put them in an old peanut butter jar with a pen and the tape.  Quite easy set up for this Thanksgiving/ November tradition I think.

Anyways, from here every evening we fill out a leaf with something we are thankful for from that day.  We can fill out more than one leaf, but only one thing per leaf and no repeating things from day to day so the more specific you are the easier.

You can see last year’s full tree here.
