Word Girl

Cairn's vocabulary is exploding!...  If you can understand it at least:
guck = truck
a-ellow = any color she chooses
gar = car
bus = (yes, she does get this one right)
puss = purse
appo = apple
buk = book
it = sit
gobybye = this means anything from just going outside, to playing in the car, to a car itself
booOO = blue, sky, or the sound a ghost makes... just look at what she's pointing to
ah-bay-bee = a baby
ans = dance
adin = again! (usually it sound like a command)

And the list goes on and on and on along with her mouth.  And heaven forbid we ever misunderstand her!!!  Oh, the woes of being pre-verbal.

A quick catch-up on my graduation situation:
I wrote an angry email explaining the whole ordeal to the facilitator for the Dean of Student Affairs.  I assume it was useful because the next day I got an email from him saying he suggested an approach to my advisors.  Then I got an email from the college of science advisor telling me she decided to write a petition to the dean to just have the credits waived.
And now I have to wait... I'm not very good at this game.

But the semester is coming to an end.  Finals are all on the calendar and I'm done with everything (counting on the petition being granted) May 12th.  Grant's last final is the 14th.

Now, should I actually graduate, I want to celebrate it... especially since I've decided that I'm not going to go sit through a looong commencement ceremony.  I'd really like to go camping with some friends... but heading out to the middle of no where full-term just sounds like a bad idea.  So I'm calling out for help!  Any ideas?

    muk = milk
    duce = juice

    Oh, and ~NO!~ is still her favorite word.
